Across October and November, MAXIS for Good volunteers from around the world took part in volunteering activities as part of our MAXIS for Good community initiative. From Hong Kong, to Paris, London and the US, we carried out a variety of activities, all of which focused on supporting the key themes of hunger, environment and health.
These included:
working at a plant nursery in Paris to support plant reproduction
joining a beach clean-up in Miami which saw 428 pounds of rubbish being collected
collecting six large boxes of foodbank donations in London
completing a bread run in Hong Kong, rescuing bread which would otherwise have been thrown away so that it could be donated to six local charities
volunteering at a food bank in Atlanta, sorting through donations from the community and creating boxes for feeder food banks and the elderly
helping with hot food prep in New York, with 300 hot meals being distributed to the community
and giving blood in Chicago.
It’s been really rewarding to come together and give our time to some extremely worthwhile causes. Take a look at the photos below to see how we got on.
