Global construction projects are expected to boom, and this will require new approaches to managing risks for risk and insurance managers. With this, we’ll see a growth opportunity in the insurance industry. Population growth, urbanisation and climate change, are expected to be the main drivers in the growth infrastructure construction projects in coming years. So where does this leave us in the demand for talent? This demand is set to increase in line with the construction industry boom and employees are increasingly relying on their employers to support their health, finances, and lifestyle needs through employee benefits. Want to hear more about this? Commercial Risk is hosting its 2022 ‘Construction Risk Management conference’ in May and our very own Wafaa Kaissoun, Account Executivewill be sharing her insights on employee benefits and the war for talent on the panel titled ‘The battle for human capital’ taking place on 18 May at 15:00 (GMT).

Wafaa will be joined by Suzanne Courtney, Chief EMEA Commercial Officer at AON Assessment Solutions and Nathalie Vandenbroucke, Risk Insurance and Compliance Manager at Eiffage Benelux.  This session aims to assess how construction firms are adapting in the race for talent and will consider the impact on project success and ultimately on the risk of insurance claims escalating. We can’t wait to show our perspective on the important topic. We’re looking forward to seeing Wafaa in action!
