Just like last year, the 2021 Bermuda Captive Conference (BCC) will be bringing a little slice of the island to you, wherever you are in the world. Unfortunately, the BCC won’t be welcoming people in person, but guests will be able to join the virtual conference on 14-15 June, as the organisers discuss a variety of topics around this year’s theme, “Bermuda resilience during COVID-19”.

The aim of this event is to help promote, support and grow the island’s world-leading captive insurance industry sector. The two-day conference is Bermuda’s largest and longest-running industry event and attracts more than 800 delegates.

It will be an opportunity for attendees to meet and interact with key people in the captive world (insurance professionals, captive owners, risk managers, legal, audit and other) for virtual learning and networking.

Larry Howley, Business Development Executive at MAXIS GBN, will be joining a panel of global experts in captive EB programmes, to discuss the advantages of using captives for EB risks and how they have been able to work with clients through COVID-19 to meet the needs of the employees.

The panel will be led by Brian Quinn, Managing Director, Granite Management Ltd, on Monday 14 June at 19:45 (UK time), and Larry will be speaking on the panel alongside Adam King – Vice President, Regional Director Americas, Allianz Global Benefits.
