Today we are pleased to announce that Paul Lewis will become our new global Head of Business Development. Paul replaces Ricardo Almeida who has joined Mercer Marsh Benefits to lead its Latin America and Caribbean employee benefits business.

In his new role, Paul will oversee our four Business Development regions. He will report to Mattieu Rouot, CEO of MAXIS GBN, and will sit on the Executive Committee.
 
Paul will lead a Business Development function that has gone from strength-to-strength in recent years. MAXIS has achieved double digit growth year-on-year in terms of premium volume over the last five years and now has a portfolio of well over €1 billion.

Paul has over 15 years’ experience working with multinational organisations and implementing global employee benefits programmes. He joined MAXIS GBN in 2016 and, before then, was a Regional Sales Manager with MetLife Expatriate Benefits. He worked for eight years with Aetna within Underwriting and International Account Management. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He is a citizen of both the US and UK.
