On Wednesday 28 September we hosted our 2022 member awards, where we celebrated the best of the best, recognising our network partners for their commitment to MAXIS, data, innovation and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
The ceremony took place at the end of the 2022 MAXIS Global Forum in San Francisco at La Mar restaurant. There was a great atmosphere throughout the evening, with EB experts from all around the world gathered to celebrate success. After a Peruvian dinner, David Watts, Director of Member Management at MAXIS GBN, and his team handed out the awards.
And the winners were…
Most Engaged Member
This award goes to the network partner that goes above and beyond when working with the MAXIS team. The winner this year was PALIG (Pan American Life Insurance Group). As well as providing a great service to our shared clients, PALIG has provided valuable feedback as part of a demo for a new MAXIS tool, has been involved in our content and always looks to find ways to improve our collaboration.
Zuleika Tello, VP of Multinational Accounts, collected the award on behalf of the PALIG team and said “I’m very happy to have been given this award. We won this award at the Americas regional awards in 2021, so it’s amazing to pick up the award at the global level too. Our relationship with MAXIS is very important to us and we work closely with all teams within MAXIS to win new clients and service our existing ones. I’m looking forward to building on our strong partnership.”
Good data is at the heart of everything we do. Employers want timely and accurate data to make good decisions about their global EB programmes. Our partner AXA Belgium was chosen to win the Data Champion award by the MAXIS Reinsurance & Reporting team for their excellent data quality, ability to meet deadlines and great collaboration.
The AXA Belgium Reporting team said “This award is a nice appreciation for the hard work our team has put in over the last few years. Data is crucial for managing an EB programme, so I’m proud that we can deliver for clients with our data.”
Most Innovative Member
Innovation is more than just a buzz word for us. We are always looking for new tools and solutions to help our network become more effective and provide an even better service for our clients. A big part of that is integrating with global EB platforms.
Desjardins in Canada was awarded our Most Innovative Member award for the team’s commitment to innovation and partnering with a large number of EB platforms.
Bill Papadimitriou, Regional VP Sales at Desjardins, said “It’s an honour to pick this award up on behalf of everyone at Desjardins. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide the best possible service to our customers and having great tech solutions is a big part of that. Integrating with EB platforms is important now and will be essential in the future, so I’m glad we are ahead of the curve and MAXIS recognises our efforts. I look forward to working more closely with the MAXIS team and our shared clients.”
Corporate Social Responsibility (or CSR) is no longer a nice-to-have. A robust CSR policy that focuses on building a sustainable future for all is vital for every business. The MAXIS for Good CSR team chose MetLife Romania as our 2022 CSR Champion for their commitment to several charity initiatives in their local community and beyond.
Sorina Stafie, Employee Benefits Executive, said “All our teams put in a lot of work into our CSR initiatives and we’ve been doing this for a long time, so thank you to MAXIS for recognising our efforts. We’ve raised money for the people of Ukraine during the current crisis, provided equipment for the Special Olympics and supported a number of children’s charities in Romania. I’m excited for our next initiatives and would like to thank our CSR team for their hard work putting together these projects.”
