AXA Italy is a top insurance provider present in the Italian market with more than 1,600 employees and with an extensive distribution network – including about 650 agencies - the strategic partnership with Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena and also agreements with third banks. Employee benefits have become a strong driver of growth for the firm, with demand from corporations for a wide range of AXA products. AXA Italy has also won numerous financial awards over the past two years that reflect its market recognition.

MAXIS GBN, co-founded by MetLife and AXA in 1998, is one of the world’s leading international employee benefits networks, providing global service capabilities and delivering world-class employee benefits perspectives and solutions to clients in 115 markets around the world. MAXIS GBN works in successful partnership with over 750 multinational clients to deliver the employee benefit solutions they need to help them care for their staff and meet the strategic goals of their businesses.

To celebrate their partnership, AXA Italy is hosting an event in Milan tonight – 12 October – where they will be supported by senior managers from MAXIS GBN.  AXA Italy will use the opportunity to tell their local Broker contacts about the partnership and explain the services and solutions are available in the market.

Matt Richards, Director, Member Management, MAXIS Global Benefits Network said: “Italy is a hugely exciting market in terms of employee benefits growth and we are delighted that AXA Italy has become our latest member network member. We will aim to help and support the business in finding and winning the best new business opportunities. At MAXIS, we are well aware that the success of our network is our success and so this is the start of a long and, hopefully, very fruitful partnership.”
