MAXIS GBN Director of Underwriting, Nicola Fordham, discussed employee benefits captives, health and wellness and more in an interview with Commercial Risk Europe magazine.

With more and more multinationals looking to bring their employee benefits (EB) into captives and global programmes, how risk and insurance managers collaborate with HR is becoming increasingly important, according to Nicola Fordham, Director of Underwriting at MAXIS GBN. Speaking to Commercial Risk Europe magazine, Nicola said:

“Companies and, importantly, a rising number of HR managers, are beginning to understand that by working with their risk and insurance management colleagues, significant savings can be made through a centralised approach to procuring and managing benefits along with traditional P&C risks.”

In this fascinating interview Nicola also discussed the journey multinationals take towards global EB programmes and eventually captives, the importance of health and wellness in the workplace and the growing need to offer flexible benefits. You can read the interview in full below.
