We are pleased to announce that we have appointed David Watts as our new Director of Member Management, our dedicated network management team.

David will move from his position as Senior Business Development Executive at MAXIS GBN to undertake the Director of Member Management role from 1 July 2020 and will report to Jérôme Picon, Head of Finance & Operations. 

David has over 25 years’ experience in the global employee benefits industry. In 2002 he joined AIG Global Benefits Network (Alico) working as an Account Manager on the European Sales team, before progressing to the Account Executive role in 2007. When Alico was acquired by MetLife in 2010, David began working with MAXIS GBN.

Prior to Alico, David held roles as a Corporate Benefits Advisor and as a Personal Financial Advisor within the UK employee benefits market.

In his new role, David will lead a team of four professionals focused on serving MAXIS’ local insurers and supporting the growth of the firm’s global network.

David Watts, incoming Director of Member Management, said: “Our network members are at the core of what we do at MAXIS. Our team has worked hard over the years to build strong connections with our network so they can continue to offer the best service to our multinational clients in their local markets. I am looking forward to taking on this role and continuing to build my strong working relationship with our members.”

Jérôme Picon, Head of Finance & Operations, said: “During his time in the business development team, David has developed a strong understanding of our network’s structure, operations and members. Since 2010, he has successfully managed a portfolio of some of MAXIS GBN’s largest global captive programmes. His technical understanding combined with his ability to form strong relationships will serve him very well in his new role.”
