Global vs local employee benefits – can one size fit all?

On Wednesday 02 May 2018, MAXIS GBN hosted a Lunch & Learn with UK clients, brokers and local network partners in London. The event took place in the historic Tower Bridge.

About 40 participants came to hear exclusively about the results of the research carried out for the very first MAXIS Global Perspectives report - International Employee Benefits programmes - the demand for flexibility and adaptability in the digital era’ one week before its official launch.

We used our new Global Perspectives report to look at the global vs local debate: the issue of trying to design and implement global, centralised employee benefits programmes in a fast-changing world while satisfying the risks, needs and opinions of local offices.

With the help of a MAXIS network partner (Soraya Chamberlain, Head of Corporate Sales & Strategic Accounts from AXA PPP healthcare) and a MAXIS client (Kareena Hooker, Global Head of Insurable Employee Benefits from HSBC), we discussed asked how large multinationals do make global decisions that work on a local level and vice versa?

The guests were then treated to a tour of the Bridge and lunch.

A good time was had by all and new things were definitely learnt!
