MAXIS GBN wins two prestigious prizes at 2017 UK Captive Services Awards

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (GBN), the international joint venture between MetLife and AXA, is celebrating after winning two prestigious categories at the 2017 UK Captive Services Awards. In addition, the organisation’s Andrew Stocker has been announced as a new entry in Captive Review’s 2017 Power 50 rankings.

At the awards ceremony in London, on 9 February, MAXIS GBN won the Healthcare Specialist of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year. The judges were particularly impressed by the MAXIS Paid Claim Global Dashboard Reports, which deliver market-leading, data driven insights that help identify impactful opportunities for healthcare management.

The Paid Claim Reports support captives and their parents when designing wellness initiatives for their employees, a key feature of captive-backed benefits programmes. The award judges were also impressed by MAXIS’ targeted health insights.

In addition to retaining one title, MAXIS GBN also scooped the award for the best Employee Benefits Fronting Network. According to the judges, the company demonstrated a clear understanding of the synergy required between human resources and risk management departments – exemplified in the combination of client testimonials that supported the awards submission.

In a week of good news for the organisation, Andrew Stocker, Head of Business Development, has been announced as a new entry in Captive Review’s annual Power 50 report. Stocker was identified as playing a key role in the MAXIS GBN Network, which has shown a strong commitment to captives in the past two years. The placing reflects Stockers’ role in managing an increasingly active global team, combining expertise from MetLife and AXA.

Commenting on his win, Stocker stated: “To be recognised by Captive Review and be among the names of other distinguished colleagues in this industry, is an absolute honour. I would not be so fortunate if it was not for the great team behind me at MAXIS GBN, which works tirelessly to ensure we can deliver the very best in value, consistency and innovation to our customers and their intermediaries”.

Mauro Dugulin, CEO of MAXIS Global Benefits Network, was pleased with the industry’s recognition: “These awards are a testament to the commitment of our global team to deliver continuous innovation. From high-level changes in the structuring of risk management through to employing the latest technological platforms for reinsurance and reporting, we are continually looking to improve our service and systems through innovation. These awards are an acknowledgement of investment not only in technology but also in systems, processes and most importantly, people. And so, of course, we are delighted Andrew has been recognised for his hard work by such a prestigious publication. His commitment and work in the captive marketplace, as we see a continued move away from the pooled model, has helped Maxis GBN consolidate its position in this industry.”
